Breakover Angle
The maximum angle a vehicle can traverse an obstacle without striking or hanging up between axles. This is obviously influenced by wheelbase (short wheelbase vehicles have a more favourable breakover angle), as well as ground clearance. For the below formula I account for 2.5 inches of wheel pad space on the two tires (I subtract off 5 inches from the wheel base).
