Dana 60

The Front Dana 60 has 35 spline inner shafts and 30 spline outers. The Dodge spring center bolt locations are slightly wider by about 1/2" total than a Chevy. The drag link  distance on a Dodge dana 60 is shorter than that of a Chevy (if you are doing a swap).

The rear Dana 60 that I have is a 30 spline Dodge. They are not quite as strong as the 1 bolt. There are some inexpensive disc brake conversion kits out there.

Dana 44

10 Bolt: standard Chevy truck and Blazer application. If you held up a 10 bolt front axle to a Dana 44 front axle, there is not a lot of difference other than the pumpkin cover plate. Strngth wise I think they are about the same. I layed a front axle shaft from each next to each other. they are pretty much identical except the 10 bolt short side shaft is not the same length as the 44.

12 Bolt rear: was found on some Chevy trucks an Blazers. Semi floating axle. Stronger than a 10 bolt rear axle.

14 Bolt rear:  This is the preferred choice for most rock crawlers. The have huge axle shafts, 35 spline and they are plentiful
